I'm Back/Our 1st Anniversary!

Posted By CocoChic on Dec 29, 2007 at 4:59PM

Hi girls! I'm back from Santa Fe and today is our 1st anniversary!! :D We're leaving for the Melting Pot in a few minutes but I just wanted to drop by and say hi. I'll be sure to take pictures!

How long has the site been like this? It's weird... kinda reminds me of the way it was waaay back. Anyway, just saying hi and all that. :)

Btw, if you go to add a blog and it says you're adding a group, just add a bl to the og in the address bar. I think it's a glitch. If you already know that, nevermind. :P

The Most Amazing Thing Ever!

Posted By CocoChic on Dec 18, 2007 at 4:02PM

My MIL gave me one of these for Christmas (we already opened our presents with them since we'll be with my family for Christmas). My neck is killing me today most likely from sleeping on it funny. Anyway, I put the little lavender things in the microwave and let this baby sit on my neck for the last half hour and my neck feel soo good! I mean, it still hurts but not as much and it just feels nice and soothed. I recommend you get one because I give it a :medal: .

We Shot the Moon

Posted By CocoChic on Dec 3, 2007 at 9:02PM

Matt and I went to a local coffee shop tonight to see some bands play. It was all nice and relaxed and everything was accoustic. The main band was We Shot the Moon which was formed by the lead singer of Waking Ashland (who are no more). They're debut album comes out in the spring and they are really awesome so you should visit their myspace and have a listen! The other two bands are really good too and all of them are just starting out and need support. :)

My Current Too Expensive Must-Haves

Posted By CocoChic on Nov 29, 2007 at 1:47AM

Chanel: Collections and Creations. At $32, it's not expensive but it's definitely a must-have!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume. Again, at $55 not that expensive but I've only smelled it out of a magazine so I'm not positive I really like it! :P

Posse Juliana Tote in Navy. I want this! But not for $250. :(

Coach Legacy Heart Keyfob. I would never spend $38 on a keyring but this one is so cute!

Walmart is My Hero!

Posted By CocoChic on Nov 24, 2007 at 9:29PM

The former not-so-fond of Walmart person in me has just been shoved and locked into a closet. Matt's been wanting a PS3 for Christmas and tonight he found something about a secret in-store only sale on the PS3. Buy an 80GB for $499 and get 10 free blu-ray movies. Blu-Ray is just an HD dvd but it's not. Ok, they're the same thing with different name, like, Chanel and Dior! These movies are like, $25 and up. So we got $250 of movies for free!

Matt's parents bought the thing so it's a Christmas present. :) Now I actually know what to get him for Christmas. (Games!) The great thing is that it's a regular dvd player too. So now all of our dvds can be played at their full potential with our HDtv. Merry Christmas to us!

Oh! Here's the movies we got (keep in mind we had limited choices):
Hairspray (woot!)
Night at the Museum
300
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Spiderman 3
Ratatouille
Cars
Pirates of the Caribbean 2
28 Weeks Later
Apocalypto

Heck Yes and Cardboard is Out!

The forecast for Thanksgiving where we're going is 38°!! Yay! Finally some REAL fall/winter weather! I'm so sick of it being in the 60s-70s! And the day after Thanksgiving, there's a possibility of snow! Woot!

Now here's a funny video that Matt just showed me. Go heart it for me!

Is There a Certain Movie You Have to Watch Every Holiday Season?

Posted By CocoChic on Nov 15, 2007 at 5:04PM

For me, it's Love Actually. Every single year around the beginning of December, I have to watch it.

My husband always has to watch The Christmas Story. He grew up with it so it feels like part of Christmas to him.

Is there a movie you have to see ever year? Is it a classic like Miracle on 34th Street or something more recent?
